Which would you recommend?

Hi All,

Looking at purchasing my first road bike in a few months but a little undecided as to which to go for. Bike will be used for some leisurely spins and might join a club in the not too distant future. Here are my options for my price range:

Specialized Allez Elite 2012

No one ever got sacked for buying Specialized.

On the other hand no one ever felt unique either.

I have a 2010 Felt F85 and haven't seen another one on the roads yet. That's certainly not because it's no good - I love it (called it Nellie because it's kept in the front room and no one has ever mentioned it, apart from swmbo). I think the 2012 has a slightly better spec than mine.

Out of the three options you have given its got to be the Canyon Roadlite, great spec ,and good looking bike

If you buy the Canyon let us know what the buying experience was like. Great spec, good prices. I'm tempted too.
