You could also try a half link chain. About £10. Cheaper than a bb.

Useless for a fixie.

The ENO hub is a good idea but I found it gradually lost chain tension under load. The more hills on the ride, the quicker it slipped. I even fitted longer bolts (the originals aren't the best) and really mullered them down tight, roughened the ends of the "axle" and fiddled with chain length and hub orientation. Gave up in the end and bought a frame with horizontal dropouts.

sorry the pics are crap, 32 ss/db spokes hub, rim and spokes all new just been hung in my garage as I gave my Daughter the frame that it was intended for.
I suspect postage to be about £10.

I had no such problem with mine.
I'd guess that the difference may have been that my chain/chainstay lengths were such that the axle was positioned in the lower rear quadrant, relative to the bolts, so that chain tension and weight/pothole impacts worked in opposition to each other.
A half link should allow any bike to use the same quadrant.
