I've had a genuis idea! I'm going to let you in on it but if I find out you've stolen it and made millions before I do I'll know it was you lot.

Anyway, I've got a 9 month old English Bulldog who is admittedly as cute as a button but whilst walking him before I go to work I've noticed something very odd. I already knew builders like him as often everyone would come out of a site to give him a pet on the head, but recently if we're waiting by the side of the road people in white vans and scaffolding flatbed trucks nealy always stop and wave me across. This isn't just occasionally either I would say that it happens 90% of the time that there is a white van/truck there and I want to cross with the dog.

So my idea is that if there is some way you can mount a bulldog on your handlebars there is absolutely no way any white van would dare cut you up and if they did and then realised how close they came to cutting up a bulldog they will probably pull over and buy you a mars bar.
I realise that 20kg of mounted hound on the front of the bike might throw the balance slightly so you may need a secondary mudguard/dog holder on the back to even it out. Plus this would also help prevent tailgating.

I'm open to any practical suggestions on how this can be achieved and may be open to some sort of profit share if it's a really good idea.

So there you go, when cyclist and white van men all live in harmony in a few years time you can say you were here when it all started.

Also steal my idea and you'll have this guy to deal with

Do you think one of these might do instead? It would be lighter...

Whilst I've nothing of substance to add, I do have to say, that's a fabulous dog you have there.
