Two near incidents withing about three minutes of another,

WVM, didnt want to wait for me travelling downhill, out a bit to avoid the ice and potholes and squeezes through, so close his wing mirror touches me, didnt get the reg as the back of it was so dirty, I shouted rude things but to no avail.

Slight less serious but saw a lady in a Mini pulling out peering through the ten inch patch he wipers had made in the thick layer of frost on the car, side windows were totally Opaque and was pulling out, I was again, out a bit to avoid the ice and off camber and she swings onto my side of the road as I am pulling out of her way to take my chances with the ice at the side of the road, the mind boggles, driving off when you cant see, I mentioned this to a lady at work and she saws she does it all the time, but its ok as there is nothing about at that time of the morning and it soon clears, I pointed out that there are things about but she was adamant that its ok as she never sees anybody, and if she did have an accident it would have melted before the Police got there....

it's this B/S mentality that puts others at risk, just as your run in with the mini proves.

Survived another day..

I am tempted to leave her a nice note suggesting it may be an idea to clean her windows before moving off.

Would be interested to see what the Police Persons on here would say about someone driving with frosted/misty windows, is that a Due Care and Attention thing ?

Buy her a cheap can of deicer/a scraper. What does it really take to do it? Couple of minutes? Big deal....just do 40mph past a school to make up the time.

Absolutely f*cking typical attitude though of "It will have defrosted by the time the police get there". She will be absolutely certain that she won't have to take any responsibility for killing or injuring someone because the evidence will have melted. If she can't be brought to book for it, then it doesn't trouble her.

People like this should be made to go on long and difficult courses of retraining, a bit like Soviet Russia, as no amount of reason or argument will make a shoot of difference to their shallow, cretinous lives. I hate people like this more than some of the career criminals I have been in contact with. :becool:

Bloke phoned local radio in E Yorks last week to report his winscreen was so dirty he couldn't see through it and his washers were frozen. Apparently driving on the motorway was a real nightmare for him.

Our jolly DJ was full of sympathy and bonhomie... sometimes you have to sympathise with the terrible lengths people have to go to in order to drive. And it's good they have a public forum they can discuss their problems in a sympathetic environment. :becool:

It's a Mini driver what do you expect? They are all arrogant cretins in my experience. If they're not using their mobiles, they're cutting in close or generally driving like to55ers.

Hate to say it but they are pretty badly driven on occasions, like the time a young girl in one pulled out on me to busy yapping into her mobile, stopped in the middle of the road not knowing whether to go for a piss or a haircut having realised I was going fairly quickly, I stopped and told her to get off her phone (and a couple of rude words) and off she went, high speed managing to flick me the bird and carry on her conversation, the only evidence of her multi taskign was the car veering onto the wrong side of the road as she wrestled with all she was trying to do.

I think its because they attract young women, heads full of Heat magazine, makeup, shoes and going out, which they obviously need to organise via an Iphone whilst moving. I think being a young girl, usually blond in a cute cheeky car makes them think they can bat their eyelashes to avoid any consequences of their stupidity or selfishness.

Lads in them tend to aspire to "Craaaaig David" style beanie hats, or twatty spiky hair, usually junior estate agents, again, usually have a phone glued to their ears.

Some normal people have them as well.

Mini is owned by BMW. Coincidence?
