Yes. Limit on proceedings is six months in this (and most traffic) cases. There are many reported after the event, but this is one of the ones that I think definitely deserves the driver being reported to court.Can the police do anything now though????
I should think the driver could be identified as the cyclist drew up alongside and videoed through the window, clear enough to identify the driver. Shocking piece of driving and pure impatience / entitlement on display.It seems failing to nominate the driver is a common ‘get out of jail free’ card. According to the Ministry of Justice there were 54,341 people convicted of that in 2012 alone.
