Who is he?

Hi all, passed s cyclist today on a dual carriage way close to my home in Teesside, he was being followed by what I would think was a support vehicle that was carrying large signs stateing that the guy was on a Round Britain Ride in 16 days. I gave him a toot on my car horn to show my support and would love to know who the rider is, why he,s doing the ride and how far in he is. Does anyone have any info, and if any other members spot him show your support for the guy for taking up the challenge. Good luck whoever you are.

Hi bengdis, same here. Would have thought local tv or even press would be picking up on it at what ever point he,s at. Had no chance to really catch any info from the banner on support vehicle as it and the rider were just leaving the entry slip to the dual carriage way so couldn,t really stop for a chat. Genuinely intrigued to gain some more info if possible, would like to know if its a solo rider or maybe a duo or even relay. Hope someone can shead some light.
