Yes, he looks like a roadkill victim that's come back to life. When i'm out riding and i see a dead rabbit or hare i do tend to think of Hartley hare sometimes.

Probably the first kid's TV I ever saw where characters died or were killed in it. Yep, not all of them made it to the Wildlife sanctuary :

Some of the deaths along the way, and once they got to the animal sanctuary, that was but the beginning as we followed the trials and tribulations of the original characters, new characters and the offspring of them all.

They had a pact to help, each other get there so they didn't just prey on each other, but once at the reserve....

The deaths I always remember were those hedgehogs, they were so close to the reserve but choked at the last moment....... So sad!
