..and as if to contradict the non-enforcement, tonight's ride home gave me a chortle (does anybody actually chortle these days outside of the Dandy or Beano)
Two Vauxhall Astras both heading through the Bus Gate at Moorfoot...the one at the rear was white with retroreflective trim and some blue lights lit up on the roof as soon as they passed the bus gate sign
