134 miles cycled this commuting week at rush hour and not a single problem...
*By we I mean those who use cameras.

Let's be honest Gaz, this isn't about camera cyclists is it?
You just used the opportunity to show off about your mileage didn't ya?
Aye, i normally do just above 160miles in the 5 day commuting period, taking a shorter route at the moment as i'm still recovering from christmas :PThat mileage is a bit low for Gaz, I think.
p.s. you left your camera, didn't you Gaz? :P
Anyone that doesnt like camera cyclists
Personally I'll watch yours, and some that you recommend, but I do find a tendancy by camera cyclist to shall we say 'be selective' in their footage so that it shows them in a favourable light![]()

That guy wasn't a video camera cyclist, he just happened to record that conversation on his phoneI saw a cycle camera clip the other day where they cyclest had been stopped by a police officer (also on a bike) for jumping a red light. The cyclest being cocky basically ran rings around the police officer who dug his hole deeper and deeper due to frustration (officer wanted to fine him, but the cyclest was unwilling to cooperate based on the fact the police officer would have to arrest him..which he could not do as he had no physical proof that he jumped a red light). The problem I had with the vid was that both cyclest and police officer came over as total cocks. And the cyclest conviniantly left out the camera footage that showed him jumping, or not jumping the red light...which had he left in my opinion of him, and the police officer might have been very different.
Sonofthewinds.. not the first to try the leaflet thing out. I know my self and someone else did it at one point but it causes conflict issues which I would rather avoid so I stopped doing it.i know the one you mean, its occasions like that I sometimes wish police were a little more allowed to say crack you round the head if your being a cockActually thats the friday night tinnies talking, I dont really want police to do that lol
The other one that is a good example of the 'bad camera' is the chap that throws leaflets into peoples windows he doesnt like. Forget his name.....

I recall that one very well. A very good reason to never confront a driver as it clearly makes matters worse. It was the BMW cutting him up/brake checking after he leafleted and then he got off and started moaning at people outside a cafe/restaurant.Not a video camera cyclists finest hour I'd say
It also should his poor riding technique. It was the BMW cutting him up/brake checking after he leafleted and then he got off and started moaning at people outside a cafe/restaurant.Not a video camera cyclists finest hour I'd say
