I didnt know Norm but have cycled with Noodles once and LD lots of times. Both great blokes to spend time with .Our loss i think.

Pubrunner- I have been watching this thread with interest, and unless I have missed anything, the only one to have used the word 'flounced' was me. And if read in the context in which it was written it is not a glib comment at all, and I would not say, or have anyone else say, a bad word about Norm at all. And infact, its the jumping to conclusions without actually reading, speak before you think mentality which overcomes some people on here that is possibly responsible for people getting fed up and needing to take a break. From the Norm

I think you've possibly misinterpreted my comments. I'm certainly not referring to any comments which you or anyone else has made with this thread.

I'm making reference to comments which were made at the time that Norm left . . . comments that were made in P + L (Current Affairs & Life). I'm sure that Norm would have an idea from where such comments originated.

Accordingly, to avoid any misunderstanding, I have editing my posting so that it reflects my views more accurately - I apologise, for any misunderstanding.
