One of my friends at University was the founder of Plastic Logic, who make these screens. I suspect that he will become a very rich man.

Maybe I should have kept in touch...

Nice. I'd wait for the second or third generation of them before thinking about getting one though. Not an early adopter, me.

Presumably we can look forward to the roll-up widescreen tv as well?

As any ZX81 user will tell you, using a keyboard that doesn't have raised keys is very tiring.

It looks nice, but for that reason I wouldn't buy one.

One of my friends at University . . .
I thought the only friend of yours at university with an interest in computers was Charlie Babbage.

Eh!!! It's 2010.

Think technology has moved on a bit since then when you actually pressed down on a small pad under the letter.

Hardly think using iphones and others like them and other touch screen things are tiring!

It's tiring to listen to them go on and on about the latest app or newest model which is coming out just a few months after the last one.

As for the laptop, it would be better if it was all in one unit, but a good idea.

Just switch off and blank them out. I love new gadgets and stuff but see when folk go on and on and on about them, it drives me daft.

"Oh I see you've only got the 3.2 gigawatt version, I have the 5.6 gigawatt version!" YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neat! Like Beanz, I'm never in at the start of things, but I'd like one of those once they were established.

Nah, he was a quarrelsome little nerd who wandered round with his pockets full of Meccano. Always disappeared when it was his round.

Anyway, I reckon he got all his ideas from that bint who claimed Byron was her dad.
