You think your way is special in that respect?

I think it's the same anywhere, with the possible exception of the more remote Scottish Islands.

No I don't I just don't like the fact that a group of semi organised scrotes can double the numbers of thefts in a coupe of months.

They will get a slap on the wrist, and I'll still be terrified to leave my bike where I cant physically keep an eye on it

At least when I'm on the m/cycle, these kids wouldn't be stupid enough to try and ride off on it.

A classic example of hyperbole there... Terrified? I seem to remember that used to be what you were when your plane fell out of the sky, or woke up to find a lion in your tent...

Ride a mangy hack into town. Lock it up well (two locks of different types are good) in a public place. And lock it up next to something nicer looking with a weedier lock.
