I was born and brought up in Somerset, home of the Wurzels and PJ Harvey.
Where I live in East London now was the birthplace of William Morris (see the Arts and Crafts movement, famous for wallpaper), Golden Balls himself, Mister David Beckham and last but not least, Sir Alfred Hitchcock.

Bon Scott was born a short distance from Chez Noodley.
Billy MacKenzie lived (and died) a short distance away - it's almost 11 years since he committed suicide - Jan 22 1997.

btw i believe that billy mackenzie was the william in question in the smiths song (it was really nothing…)

I do believe you are correct. Both on The Smiths song and it being dangerous to live near me. :biggrin:
