Gti Towers is leak-free so far apart from driving rain getting in under the back door, which faces west and has one of those stupid aluminium profile gutters underneath it instead of a traditional stepped threshold. Whoever thought those profiles would be a good idea instead of the tried and tested step?

So far so good, though judging by the scuttling noise I heard in the night, there are bats in my belfry critters in the loft space.

OK here, no water - roof joists weren't half creaking and flexing last few nights. Shame the kids trampoline cover (it's a tent type thing) got ripped to bits !

Don't mention leaks! Got up yesterday to see a lovely damp patch on the lounge ceiling. Turns out the hot water bath tap/pipe has been leaking for some time. Can't sort it without removing the bath so the plumber has isolated the tap. No baths for us for a while *sniffs underarms*.

You could just turn on the water again for long enough to fill the bath and wrap a rag around the leaky pipe!

No leaks that I'm aware of, but did find a broken roof slate in the front yard.

Drove round to the next street to check the roof - can't see the whole roof from our little cul-de-sac - and no obvious holes in the middle anywhere, so expect it was a leading-edge one that the wind has managed to grab and dislodge.

The piles of flat-pack rubbish and old bedroom furnitue piled up in the front yard got moved around a lot during the night though. 10 mins. collecting it all from the neighbours gardens before I could head off to work!!

We could ... but the bathroom is original 1970s so could do with a bit of a face-lift. Just needed a kick up the arse to start saving for it instead of buying new bikes. :shy: Still got a functioning shower and the last time I used the bath was when I was knocked off my bike in 2009.

We've got a leaky garage roof. Ours is in the middle of a block of 4 others so don't know if it's ours or one of the others. Our bikes are hanging from hooks in the beams and I keep finding my rear mudguard filling up.

I'm worried about my slate roof! There have been some very disconcerting noises coming from it the past few nights ...

Earlier this week, I asked my sister if the flat roof on her kitchen extension had ever leaked. She told me that it hadn't. The next day, I was standing talking to her in that kitchen, when some large drips of water started going down the back of my neck. The roof was leaking and the ceiling had split - I'd jinxed her!
