I have cut back some Ivy, been raspberry picking, talked to my dive instructor, had tea and scones at the local garden centre, done the Sainsburys run and trimmed my hedge (careful Fnaar).

Not a lazy morning, might be a lazy afternoon though.

I've got a good Ian Rankin book on the go, one of the Rebus stories. Instead of reading that I'm currently reading this. There's no butlers in the story but I still think it was the butler that did it; he did it in the kitchen with the spanner.

Throwing a 'sicky' eh

I wish, I'm on bloody holiday!

I took a long weekend (I was supposed to be riding the Mersey Roads 24 hour TT this weekend but withdrew a few weeks ago but decided to go ahead with the Friday and Monday off work) and came down with the cold on Friday afternoon. Bloody typical.

I really do need to crack on with guitar practice and get out on my bike. Another cup of tea first though.
This is me too. I've got a few songs to learn for a new 'project'. Need to get out for an hour or so, I'll wait for it to cool down a bit.
More tea first though.........

I was up at 05.00 this morning for work and afterwards played a round of golf.

It's very hot and sunny here, but with TdeF on the box, Test cricket and CC online, I'm sitting with a cup of tea and some malt bread in the cool of my flat. The misses is away - so, BLISS really! :becool:

What is your guitar project?
I am working through the alphabet at the moment. Currently on A - E this week. 'Teach' thought that it would be a change from that Malmsteen track that's keeping me up at night.

Oh, nothing too exciting. Just trying to get a band together again. Just middle of the road pub rock type stuff. It's just interesting learning songs I've not played before, even if they are quite 'easy' (relative I know). Needless to say I'm still sat here and haven't moved!
I'm going now, honest I am, I've got to put tea on.

I have had a good hour or so practicing Highway to Hell and Time after Time. I threw in a bit of Everybody Hurts for a change. Better get cracking on Ticket to Ride and Bohemian Like You but need Hubster to pull his finger out for that one.

Seems he's undergone a bit of a makeover.
