Why are basic 26inch folders less expensive than 16 & 14 inch?

26 inch and 20 inch wheel folders are cheap and cheerful. You get economies of scale as they use common and mass market parts. But any cheap folder will have limitations, especially if you want suspension. Which is utterly unnecessary, especially on a cheap 26" bike.

At 17 kg I should hope not. That's not a bike, its an anchor.

There are loads of new bikes around & even more used versions on Ebay Gumtree & Preloved, this is a couple of new ones at the bottom end.

They're crap. No kind way to say it. Utter garbage. That's why they're cheap.
