'Outbuilding'.With Francis Maude suggesting repeatedly that people keep an illegal jerry can of fuel in their sheds, what hope do the less informed masses have?
I take it that you don't need your car to get to work, and have assumed that everyone else is in the same situation?Mention a petrol strike ( which is yet to happen) and people panic buy! It is mayhem around here for buying fuel. I only want to buy my usual £15 worth of diesel but queues are so long that I gave up eventually. Many garages are sold out, but why? I dont understand people's mentality. Are their cars so important that I believe they would do anything just to get their precious fuel?
I am convinced that even in fuel reaches £3 a litre( yes I did say £3) people will still buy it and cut back on other things so they can still use their darling cars.
Thsi is crazy mentality and I, for one, think they get all they deserve.
I like my car but not to the point of putting it on a pedestal. Even if tanker drivers go on strike, it will only be for one day and it wont inconvenience me. I can cope with not using it for one day and have a day off. Money is not everything! Get a life, people!
Rant over and now for a cup of tea.
Yes I do need my car as I am a driving instructor but I keep my head on. There is NO SHORTAGE of fuel. People are creating the shortage, not the strikers as they are not on strike yet! I never panic as it would be bad for my blood pressure due to the nature of my job.I take it that you don't need your car to get to work, and have assumed that everyone else is in the same situation?

Don't knock the drivers - what else can they do?
