Didn't take my usual non-road route into work due to rain (surface gets muddy) so was force to take the road.

Now on two roundabouts, as I went round, the car drivers stop then before I have gone past them, whcih takes 0.2 seconds, they start to drive forwards!!!

WTF?!?!?!

Can't they wait until I have gone past?

Does anyone else get this?

What is the bleedin' hurry?

I find it really off putting as you don't really know if they have seen me or if they will speed up etc.

But if I were in a car, then they stay put.

I'm always thinking "why can't they wait".

There is a road I go along on my commute which has cars parked either side of the road so there's only space for one car to go past with room for a bike (but not much!) If I approach the gap first and go through it, do the cars coming the other way wait? Do they 'eck! No, they come straight towards me even though there's barely enough room for 2. grrr.

Happens a lot - yesterday one driver got very close coming out of a side road as I passed....got the death stare - comes in useful !

I hate when they edge out and there's nowhere to go even if I wasn't there, the roundabout is jammed after my exit. I don't know what it is about roundabouts, drivers tend to always blank me when I stare in their direction whereas they don't at T junctions and some even apologise.

I was following another lad this morning, on my fast stretch - nice drag (not coming home though) and he looked behind him at the car following, then moved right into primary going through a pinch point - he was doing 30 mph, the car was, and so was I. Just as he got through, the driver overtook on the chevrons (which mean no overtaking) well in excess of the speed limit - shame the GATSO is never switched on - The rider was still in primary..... I pulled up along side..and said "They never wait do they".... the guy got no where as we were both behind him for another mile or so....
