It's not just the horrendous wind and rain here today that's putting me off. I'm also having a cycle clothing crisis as in what to wear,if i do go out! Is it time for the tights to come out or do i resist wearing them till at least October? Should i wear my winter gloves or wear the fingerless gloves with light wool gloves underneath? Should i wear my overshoes or not? Should i wear my waterproof plastic altura jacket or my fleecy autumn long sleeve number? I just can't decide!

I stuck two fingers up to the elements but backed down on the autumn clothing resistance.I went out wearing the plastic jacket, the tights, the winter gloves, and the overshoes!

All beginning to hurt from cycling every day, and don't go out of my way to ride the motorbike in the rain.

Waiting for my overshoes which I ordered last Friday, else shoes and feet get wet in rain and don't like riding with wet feet.

I do a TRX class Tuesday nights, so i avoid riding on that day as the session is usually full on and causes me to turn into a walking zombie of achyness, but i shall be back on the bike come Wednesday.

IIRC correctly there's only three times I haven't ridden this year.
Once in January when the roads were that chaotic that I decided to give it a miss.
Once in March went I was floored by a flu/virus
and when I went down to London to watch some pro cycling instead.

I may give this evening a miss :rain: but I've already cycled 26 miles this morning

I've had a cold for 3 days.

Wife working and I'm looking after my 10 month old daughter. We have a 10 minute window to say hello then I'm off to work. If my wife's late home I've no time to cycle and I take the car. If my wife was back on time I'd commute everyday.

Bad legs. Been unable to ride for almost two weeks. Grrrr. I suspect - (hope like hell more like) - that the problem may be passing, but won't know until I get back on the bike. I'm planning a 'freedom ride' later- just a mile or so to the barbers. If I can make it without any pain, I'll know I'm better and as Arnie once said, 'I'll be back'. TFFT!
