As opposed to 'My ride today' Why didn't you ride today??

My excuse... I'd promised Granddaughter that we'd go elderberry and blackberry picking in a village a few miles away and then pop into a somewhere to see a parrot!
Busy after that starting the magical 'elderberry into wine' process.

What's your excuse?

Lost my cycling mojo some time back

Failed to make it round the Snow Rds - 300 and despite the fact 'its just a bike ride' I'm so pi$$ed off with myself for packing, I simply cannot get the disappointment out of my head.

weekends i tend to spend at the wetland centre as my girlfriend works there at weekends and i also volunteer there on some weekends. from april until october (except july and august) there are reptile surveys to be done each week and i also try and keep tabs on the common lizards (they bask in the open, so don't show up on the surveys).

my new job is 4 days a week, so i will try and go cycling on fridays.

Took the dog for a long walk this morning and then my Sunday cycling buddy cried off and I couldn't be arsed to cycle on my own.
At least I got a good 50 miles in yesterday.
