Couldn't give a crap about materialistic things. I only do the lottery to give me a tiny glimmer of hope of escaping my job. I don't really care for it and it is not that easy for me to seek another. Just really want enough to get by, I think I would give a lot to charity if I ever did win. I am not going to win it anyway so lets forget it. So it would change my life, not having to work is a huge change.

If nothing changes then you might as well give it away, Its how you let it change you though. ie turn you into an arrogant slob-knob (is this a new word?) or an active person with loads of hobbies .... also I work in retail and as much as I like my job, some of my customers really do try my patience.... and with millions in the bank I don't think I could guarantee a polite attitude.......

I've always said if I had a massive win I would also make my best friends brother, sister and parents wealthy too. Imagine having such wealth and not being able to share the experiences it brings with the people you have been closest too for you whole life. I would love to be wealthy so that I don't have to think about paying the next bill but when I'm dead and buried I'd like to think I was the poorest in the cemetery.

Many people will only be able to imagine life from their present position so if their present wish is to have a new handbag they think of that in the context of £10 million quid. Perhaps really thinking about the real life you could have with £10m is best not considered too closely when you cannot have it.
There are lots of things I would do with more money. I am not poor but a night out is a bit of a luxury and a "dream" car would be one that is only about five years old. There are also many many things I would do if I had more time be that in retirement or winning the lottery.

Don't do the lottery, but I would be more than happy to win it if I did! Wouldn't change my car, but I wouldn't have to worry about where to find the money to get it fixed/MoT'd/taxed/insured etc etc. ~Wouldn't move house, but might get someone in to do the garden as I can't keep on top of it. Wouldn't continue working either (but I'm only part-time any way), but that's about it. It wouldn't change much apart from removing worry about paying for ordinary things and being able to spend as much time as I like cycling, kayaking, sailing and travelling.
