They'll be happy with all this scuffing.

What about crusties walking? They have this peculiar long, slow gently bouncing gait, ever so slightly leaning back. It's an unmistakeable crusty tribal trait which must take quite a bit of practice to learn.

Does it matter? People should be able to walk in whichever manner they see fit.

Perhaps John Cleese could give a few examples of how to lift your feet clear of the ground...

....scuff their feet, and drag their heels when they walk?

Well for me it's because I had a serious motorbike accident a few years ago, shattered my hip, damaged the sciatic nerve which has never fully recovered.

So I have a bit of foot drop on my left side and sometimes do scuff a bit (but not often).

Hope this isn't too irritating?

Never understood why you wouldn't do up your laces. I hate loose fitting shoes.

My parents never told me to lift my feet but I often got told of for walking with my hands in my pockets.
