Why has the 'I just won' thread been locked

Seems a little strange, as there does not seem to be any contentious stuff in there. I mean, no one has won a helmet or a speed camera!

Anyway I won £10,000 quid and business class flights to Expo 98 in Lisbon to be presented with the cheque by Bill Gates. Sadly the dosh was to be spent on school stuff but I managed to have £1000 worth of computer gear bought for me out of the winnings.

The week before I was told that I'd won £10k, I won a colour TV

Six months before that I won £2k's worth of communication gear from BT for use in the school where I work.

Maybe, which is a shame, because I was about to add I won a Truckle of Cheddar Cheese at the Cheddar Challenge 4 years ago.

But who has the right to say its too dull and also too dull for who??

Censorship to the extreme, or just plain stupidity and selfishness as someone didn't win something?

Did it specify win in an effortless competition? If so, I won £10 on the lottery once. In competitive sport, however, I won the 1984 North London Nurses Swimming Association breast stroke and diving (not both at the same time) and the 1973 Herts Catholic Schools Obstacle Race.
