Had a visit from my brother and his wife this morning.He told me our mums grave has been done over.Some scumbag or bags,have pulled up all the flowers,plants and bulbs,chucked them about the cemetery,then pulled up the pavers and nicked them.My brother said they will have needed a van to take them away.I ask you wrecking a grave.I hope they rot in hell.Our kid has told me he will sort it out.

It seems to happen occasionally up here, even to kid's graves, which is just.... Well.......... I haven't yet found a word for me to describe adequately how I feel about it.


Just take comfort from the fact however that the people in the graves will be long gone, so at least it isn't hurting them and will still be there long after us, so to speak.

Try not to let the anger get the better of you. Easily said I know, but these things can eat you up inside. The only thing that would make you feel better is to have the culprits caught and beaten. But that's not going to happen unfortunately. If you take nothing else from this, just think that any material damage can be fixed. And also remember that no amount of vandalism can change who your Mum was or what she means to you now.
