Got home from work today and there was a box from Wiggle waiting for me

Contents:

DHB R1.0 shoes in black
DHB arm warmers
2 x DHB lightweight sock
1 x DHB thermal winter sock
Shimano SPD R450 pedals
2l drum Nectar energy drink
tube Nectar hydration tabs
1 small packet of free Haribo

well chuffed and can't wait to try everything out, the shoes are very comfy......just a shame they couldnt throw in a freebie or some samples seeing as I spend over £125

how you finding those R1.0 ? quality, fit , comfort!?

If you'd had ordered them in seven separate (free post) orders, you'd have got seven packets of haribo

Not that I've ever done that!

Fast and careful!
Back in the late ninetys lucozade made a range of sports gels with in a pouch with a resealable straw that even if you struggle swallowing the gel you could fire it into the back of your mouth avoiding your taste buds, taking them for me has come easier over the years but they did make me gag!

Nah, they get wise to that. I've had a few occasions where I've put orders through on consecutive days and only the first one has the Haribo in ;)

ha, i don't what comes over me when i see the wee pack of sweets, they get ripped open and scoffed on the spot

I too would be interested to know what you think of them, specifically how warm (or otherwise they are). I've got a pair of really lightweight Shimano road shoes (R070's I think) but this time of year they are just too flimsy to ride in. I suppose I could put an overshoe over the top of them but I do like the look of the DHB R1.0's

The R1.0's are retty good. Quite light and good quality with a good stiff sole. The only bad thing i can say is they're making my feet go dead, so I loosen them a bit and they feel too loose, maybe i just need to fine tune them

cheers.
i actually ordered a pair and they were too small, ordered a size up and they were too roomy!? seemed like nice shoes if you can get them to fit
i've decided to look for something else now

hmmm ok just got a 43 and 44 in a pair of diadora sprinter2 (uk9 and 9.5)
the 43 felt instantly tight on my right foot. toe was right to the end.
with the 44 i have a lot more room, just a tad more than i would like but i'm going to have to go with the 44.
can't see the 43 stretching much and i guess a bit roomy is better than a bit too tight
