I'm booked on this, it's my first sportive ride and just wondered if any CC'ers will be there?

Did it a few years ago. Some great roads, but large stretches of gravel either side of potholes too.

I booked the 102....I just rode 106 today which was ok, just a bit draining due to headwinds....but i have to drive a fair way before and after this ride...I may opt for the 72 on th eday who knows

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm coming down from Market Drayton which is about a 3 to 4 hour drive. Always worse coming back after!!!
