Stretch Paul J on the racks, hang, draw and quarter him, then exile all his extended family and friends from this country and let his name never be mentioned again.

I think that's a fair and proportionate response.
Funny how wiggins supporters get all upset when you dare say anything bad about their sad hero. I'm sure your the kind to get your tongue down the back of his trousers at the first invite he gives enjoy!

No need to get upset when you are a wiggins supporter and you have your tongue down his trousers. Lets not forget who started with the personal insult so who's rude or maybe thats usual for you

I'd prefer not to hear any of them sing. Wiggins doesn't even know the words to the national anthem. I can't stand the bloke and an article that sums him up.

That's a definite +1 for me.

It's a shoot anthem anyway, with nothing to do with the country we live in, sung by people stupid enough to believe that one Royal family and one Royal head is what makes a country.

Because you can't come up with a good reason, it seems.

So far I haven't seen or heard why I should like him but plenty of self bragging for winning a few races. Like most sportsman he is self righteous and just full of himself just because he rides a bike. People like him enjoy the attention that lemmings bring.

Wether it is a shoot anthem or not he still couldn't be bothered or know the words. The royal celebrations are enough to show that this country is still proud to have a monarch and other countries wish they had the same heritage, rather than an elected politician.

Ah, I see. You dislike him because he's successful.

Luckily, one of the things about this country is that it's not a crime to be an atheist or a republican.

I'm not. I find it quite embarrassing if I'm honest. And in the highly unlikely event of me winning pretty much anything, there's no way on Earth I'd sing the desperatley archaic dirge either. This does not make me, Wiggins, or anybody else, a bad person worthy of derision.

Wiggo is the main man when it comes to his riding ability but he'll never be a style icon, certainly not with those sidies.
