Don't know but they look fantastic.
The wild flowers and weed are having a great year with this drought.

My sort of "guess" would be Mountain Cornflower (Centaurea Montana Alba). I cannot find a suitable picture to copy and paste.

I say "guess" but I have something similar, but purple, in my garden.

I should've got that one. Thought the leaves were familiar. I don't see it in such wild profusion though as pictured.

Boring fact: It's called mjødurt in Norwegian. Obv. translates to Mead Wort.

Maybe there's been a corruption in the name over time as you don't find Meadowsweet growing in meadows (unless it's a wet meadow).
