I’ve done this twice and it’s a great ride. It’s the hills, which make it a challenge. Just make sure you train well and get your nutrition/energy drinks right before the event.

One thing I find amazing is the variety of bikes used; I used my Longstaff 26 inch wheel-touring bike. Just make sure you have the gears to cope with those hills, or the leg power.

I've ridden it 4 or 5 times. It's always a really good day out. And I'm just starting to repeat a few of the roads - the routes are always different.
