You're teaching us to suck eggs here. Doesn't everyone take an international perspective? It's natural here in Europe.

Lots of people in the UK don't take an international perspective.

If the guy is from the US then he probably is conversing in his first language on this forum.

Thanks, @lane , I didn't either until about two years ago! And I can always talk about "the one I had to leave behind" — a lovely Kona Jake I picked up in Alaska, moved with to Washington, and sold before I moved to Europe...
