Don't see the need.

I get a puncture, I get off and fix it, I start riding again! Takes no more than 2-3 minutes and happens on average maybe once or twice a year.

I think that sometimes people look for solutions to problems that aren't there

I would not need it as much in Hampshire, but this area is the Hawthorne capitol of the known universe. I have been known to pull 6 or more thorns out of a tyre at the end of a ride.

But aren't these designed for use with tubeless tyres, where I understand thorn induced punctures aren't so much of a problem, due to the magic gunge that's part of a tubeless set up?

To be honest I was answering the post about puncture in the nineties.
