Win XP Pro- stupid taskbar issue.

All Mac at home. Not at work though.

Today, for some reason, my taskbar has gone weird.

The bit where you can switch between open applications- I've got two of the buggers and I can't get rid of the extra one.

No obvious options if I right click in there.

Looks like one is a toolbar. Right click the task bar & hover over toolbars & uncheck the one that you don't want (not quick launch!)

Ta- I've had a go at that- If I right click and select Toolbars there aren't any options in there that are checked except quick launch (i've unchecked it anyway, just to see- and it does what I'd expect it to do). It's got me stumped anyway.

Right-click and see if the taskbar is locked at the moment. That might free up your options a bit.

Or it might be worth uninstalling something if you've just installed it.

Or you could create another user profile.
