I can't believe how just a bit of wind can make your hands feel like they're rusted up and your ears like they belong to someone else's head.

Certain parts really do get more of the chill, ears, toes, fingers etc. I find forearms can get it a bit and nistead of dumping on an extra layer, I use arm warmers in combo to try and balance out what I need.

Last week I had frost on the end of my gloves etc, which just shows you how bad it would be to not use gloves.

This is one of several reasons why at this time of year I stick to the MTB, average speed 8 mph, vs. the road bike, average twice that.
