I am. I don't like Windows anyway and so have used 10 as a motivation to swap back to Ubuntu (or Xubuntu in my case)

Just looked at that link. My word there is a lot of turning off to do. I don't think I will bother updating to 10.

I haven't changed yet because I'm still mulling the privacy bit, trying to decide if it in fact matters and what the alternatives are, which seem fewer and fewer and also because it seems they are still ironing out the bugs.

It is my understanding that closest surveillance by the "authorities" is carried out on people who turn off all the messages to Microsoft. The number of feeds turned off can be regarded as a measure of involvement in dubious activities, the more they turn off, the deeper they are engaged in murky business.
