Just to go against the grain here... I use secure logmein.
You'd have to install it on their PC for them, but once set up, you can log in at will, they wouldn't have to do anything else.
Obviously they'd need to trust you to do it, but I'm guessing they do already!
I've used it for a few Years now to remotely control the instruments at work, it works very well.

Well, fixed again. Except I didn't find anything wrong! I couldn't log in, so did a hard reboot and it all came up sweet, after I was expecting to have to go in in safe mode. Looks like they picked up a piece of malware, so I've left malware bytes running with instructions of what to do at the end. Not really sure how they are getting so much malware when I've cleared it all out once.?
