Indeed. To cope with my old Creative Zen Touch, which I love, but which is not supported in Win7, let alone 10. Haven't actually connected it to a PC for years, but when I do, it shows up in device manager:

(and reports all drivers are up to date & fine and also dandy), but does *not* show up in File Explorer:

..so I can't actually access it. Anyone have any ideas? I'd be mucho grateful. (I've tried googling, but I'm getting nowhere fast.)

Tried turning it on/off whilst plugged in. Found New Hardware showing in the bottom right hand corner.

How did you get music onto the Zen originally?
I had one many years ago and I had to use some app from Creative to download everything onto it. I think it was just at the time I upgraded to Vista that I found that I would need to upgrade the firmware. Only after I had done that would the Zen appear as a device in file manager. I assume you would need to go to the Creative website to get the appropriate firmware and whatever else is needed. The catch is that you lose whatever was on it by doing the upgrade.

I only realised my printer's USB cable was dodgy after weeks of pulling my hair out and one new printer
