Why do they squeak while wiping?

New ones, bedded in ones and old ones, wet or dry or just a bit damp - they all squeak.

(And I cannot find the mouse)

Next time it is raining squirt a large dollop of washing up liquid on a folded up paper towel and scrub the screen, let the rain and wipers do the rest. I carry a small bottle of the stuff in the car for that purpose.

i would suggest screen and rubbers are greasy give both of them a good clean

Autoglym screen cleaner on screen and blades . Gets rid of all greasy rubbish on the blade. Which makes em smear and squeal

Another vote for Auto Glym screen cleaner on the screen and blades.

But do it properly. You don't want it to be half-baked. That would be the thin end of the wedges.
