My current work location is a few miles away from the England side of the 1st Severn Bridge and I have set myself a rule that if it's closed completly due to high winds I don't ride in (I don't have to cross it as I come to work from Bristol but I've tried it a few few times and have been blown across the road). Looking at the state of the bike shed thing at around 11am today I'm glad I didn't ride in and park my bike there.

I was in Shirehampton at 11 am today and there was a very large gust of wind that rocked me even though I was merely walking.

I think I'll declare that a windy ride

38mph winds (49mph gust) on the way home, that actually slowed me down going down Green Dyke's Lane (Just about the steepest hill in York)

Worst commute ever XD

Where do you commute to Leaway? Good to see another 'local' on the board

Today when there's no wind to speak of I get a lift.
Yesterday when it was really bad I was mad enough to have to cycle into the wind twice on the way to work - due to cycling the 4 miles home at lunchtime to see to our dogs.
The coming home part was a blast though.
