I am after some new tights, after destroying the last pair. Turns out falling off and lycra doesn't mix too good.
My max budget is £80 ideally the cheaper the better, but comfort/warmth is key.

Can anyone help?
Size wise im just short of 6ft 3, i know some companies stuff fits better than others.

Thanks in advance
Peter

Very happy with my decathlon bib tights.

an important aspect is to get a pair of windproof ones if you want ones to use in very cold weather.

I hear lusso ones are good and bieme too.

I have got the dearer ones cyber (one with the orange pad). They have wibdproof panels. The next ones down look ok too, but arent windproof but at least fleeced.

Nice to know , i use the orange pad normal / bib shorts for club runs and find them comfy, might even take the padding out of the cheap ones as leggings as i have plenty of shorts but find when riding i tend to get a bit of cold air on the lower back with ron hill bikesters.

Has anyone tried water repellent / proof bibs?
Are they worth sinking money into, or is there no point?
Just thinking I'd like a pair of bibtights which I can wear all year round, warm and repel water (got love our weather!).

Not fussed if I have to buy two sets, roubaix and lighter seasons, just means I have more stuff on the cycle side of my wardrobe

The Castelli Nanoflex bib sorts (and 3/4's) are very good. Pair the shorts with some Nanoflex leg warmers and you're set. They won't keep you dry in a proper downpour but then again nothing will. But it really is an amazing material.
