Have a nice ride.
A nice midday ride today on a day off work. 17° C, 10 mph breeze, feels like 13° C, but couldn't have felt nicer. No summer sweat, no bugs in your mouth or eyes, just a nice ride on a gorgeous day. Roads & trail.

Just to give an idea of how far north the UK is. It’s only the Jet Stream and ocean currents combined with maritime climate that’s preventing us having a colder climate in the winter. We don’t have extreme heat, nor extreme cold. At least, not till climate change kicks in some more.

Yeah, Ming, you win 🏆 on the cold. 0°C is cold enough for me. Putting it bluntly, I hate the cold. I tolerated it when I was into skiing, but other than that (and winter camping) I could be quite happy with shorts and T-shirt weather most (not all) of the time, if I had my choice.

For 25 years I lived in Oklahoma, right next to Texas, and one summer we had over six weeks straight without one day below 38C. I prefer hot to cold any day. But for now I'm just happy to enjoy every sunny day, even if it's what I consider cold. Can't beat a dry, sunny day, eh?

Out and about, thankful for more sun. 🌞 Always a good day.

Always enjoy pics from your side of the pond. We may have more comfortable weather on the East Coast of the U.S., but you have such nicer areas and scenery than where I'm at right now. I'm just happy I have accessible trails living downtown in an area with a population of around 80,000 people. Getting out in nature is priceless. 🐞🌳🚴‍♂️🍄
