Well I am about to buy some base layers and a new buff. I'm going to have to look around for some gloves also I think. I will probably end up wearing my old rugby socks and I have acquired some MTB shoes which are a lot more padded & warmer than my road shoes. The only issue is they are fabric not leather so they won't be waterproof, oh and they are butt ugly.

Bring it on,i've got all the right clothing so it does not bother me.Might invest in a pair of studded tyres for the MTB which might be very soon so they are not out of stock.We are starting to stock snow tyres and wheels at work after last years snow stopped play but they are £3K plus a set for a Porsche....bit different to our little budgets !!!!

I cycle in all year round but two miles is an easier commute than most. For a hat I have an LBS skull cap and a beanie type hat for when it's really cold. No base layers owing to route only being 10 minutes each way. You can get base + mid layers from some walking gear shops/outlet stores, they work well.

It's started quite suddenly today
As per last winter I will be out in all but the very worst, and enjoying the bleakness of dark nights in the peak district on foot too

Got my Merino long sleeve base layer on standby now it's starting to get a bit cooler,will use a buff,winter gloves,woolly socks and over-shoes,Bikesters,and a yellow Endura waterproof jacket,and a mid layer.
Quite enjoy the colder days on the bike,though it's very tempting to have an extra 30 mins in bed when it's freezing cold

All year, all weathers. Wasn't always that way though.
I like snow.
What I don't like is those first few frosts, it takes me a couple of weeks to adjust to the lower temperatures. Then it's OK for a while until I start getting fed up around the start of February, longing for some light evenings.

None last year !!! Only Cayenne's just about made it out in the snow.One customer who has not even got his new car yet has just bought a full set of centre lock alloys and snow tyres for his brand new GT3 ! At least it's something to lean by bike against for now
