Winter Draw(er)s On !

Apparently it is due to get really chilly on Friday here in the South West, down to 3 degrees or lower over the weekend.

I'll be donning long Altura winter cruiser leggings, thick Aldi cycling gloves, long sleeve top, underjacket and Aldi winter jacket. I also have a thin fleecy balaclava for my bonce, and shoe covers to keep my feet warm.

Looking forward to some cold commuting !

Is this one of your favourite times of year - those cold frosty sunny mornings ? One of the great things about riding for me is staying in touch with the seasons a bit more.

I agree, I'm looking forward to the weather getting a bit colder. I'm not a big fan of this warm, dark and foggy weather.

I've only been cylcommuting since August and I hadn't thought about the "staying in touch with the seasons" bit before, but can certainly see that now.

Dreading it! I dread it every year but as long as I spend an extra half hour putting layer upon layer of clothing on, I manage to survive. That plus dreaming of warmer days to come....

still in shorts here, although not in work today as am feeling all wheezy and dreadful - smog i beleive. am off next week so after that i think it will be longs rather than shorts

I moved to 3/4 lengths a couple of weeks back (4am commute). I have a nice new set of full length bib tights for this weekend.
