Hi all,

I need a decent set of winter gloves as two sets I currently have are not doing the job at these sub zero temperatures, resorted to the train this morning as could not face the cold fingers !! I have all the right clothing everywhere else just the gloves need sorting.

I have the 3 below:

1. Gorex liner gloves
2. Skin Sealz (early winter gloves)
3. Trek full winter gloves (these are ok to around 2/3 degrees)

Any advise/recommendations would be great..

Thanks

The best thing I did for cold hands last winter was to get some thin motorcycle overmittens. These are seriously water and windproof, and almost guarantee not getting cold hands.

More than this, you might not be keeping your core warm enough. I've found that unless I have a slight sweat on, my hands and feet get cold, despite my having proper winter cycling boots and serious gloves and overgloves.

Hey, thanks for the prompt response.
I will look into motorcycle mittens (good idea) and fair point about core temperature, just too cold to cycle faster thou and slippery sometimes.
Cheers ;)
