Winter leg cover...

Hi, I've been wearing shorts over the last few months but now needing to cover up especially with the colder early mornings coming up in Scotland  Just looking for some advice as to what to wear? Leg warmers or longer trousers? I'm 6 feet 6 inches so the length is important & my budget is not massive (under £50). Cheers for any thoughts forthcoming...:okay:

I tend to wear leg warmers or tights under shorts when it gets colder - I have a pair of these leg warmers which do me well at this time of year. http://www.tgstore.co.uk/universal-warmers-p-5176.html There are also thermo version which are ideal on those bitterly cold morning rides in november and december!

I got some Decathlon long tights for autumn/spring wear, but when it gets colder I use Altura winter cruiser tights over normal cycling shorts. It's more than just the legs which need the insulation !

You could look at Roubaix bib tights by various manufacturers ?

I have an awesome pair of warmers, great fit, comfy and warm...had them fir three years...and never...ever ridden in them.

Shorts and longs is all that I find I need.
