planning ahead and needing some advice. I have Castelli diluvio gloves and they are good for chilli or wet weather but are useless when it gets cold. I had some sealskinz and they were very chunky and I might as well have worn ski gloves

Has anyone have any non bulk very cold weather recommendations? I've come across Castelli 4.3.1 which I'm tempted with but there are no real life reviews anywhere

I've got some from decathlon, inexpensive, pretty much too warm however but that's because I'm a wuss and don't ride below 5 degrees

These ones I think

I used a pair of berghaus windstopper gloves over several very cold winters. They are fairly thin but very warm and cosy. The palm and finger grip material is very tough and waterproof. Better than almost any cycling glove.

MTB gloves are pretty good when chilly. Remember, everyone is different. Some folk need really warm gloves, others done. You are always best having a selection.
