Winter tyres

Ive got gatorskins on my bike at the moment but ive noticed that if the road is wet and I'm on a steep hill and out of the saddle, the back wheel just spins!!
With winter almost here I wondered if theres any better winter tyres out there??

Gatorskins are often mentioned on here as not being very grippy in the wet. I guess you confirm

I use Continental Top Contact on my commuter bike all year round, they're not the cheapest mind.

I use armadillos after having the same problem with gatorskins and they have been really good so far
