Was off for at least 6 weeks a few years ago having broken my collar bone in a fall. Wasn't fun- involved going to work by bus. :-(

That's what worries me about a long lay off.

clipless moment lol, i went sideways but decided to save the sti,qr's,carbon fork, new pedals and overall paintwork on my 4 day old new racer- and i stand by that decision even now.

I managed to save all that and not break anything when i had my clipless moment;)
When i had my slight misshap in the week of my foot unclippling while sprinting(was doing about 25mph when it unclipped) i scratched my pedals(fine, only my SPD's) ripped some of the bar tape(can retape) ground down the end of the handlebar(re-taping will cover it) bit of a rough area on the side of the saddle, small hole in my coat, small bit of road rash on my arm.
Didnt do too bad i dont think:thumbsup:
