That's a .50 Desert Eagle. That round will go through brick walls at half a mile, never mind a book. Its designed to kill large game such as bear, and will make light work of a Mills and Boon.

This is really sad in so many ways. Firstly that they didn't have the sense to test it at least 5 times first (with an identical book). Secondly that they felt the need to do this dangerous stunt to, lets face it, get more subscribers in order to get more YouTube money. Thirdly the fact they were stupid enough to use a .50 caliber round. And finally, how they thought that this sort of stunt would be suitable for a 3 year old to watch, more so their own child. And I guess lastly that 30 other equally stupid people were happy to watch without pointing out the obvious dangers.

That is the truly gobsmacking thing about the whole incident. Two American gormlessati is one thing, but to think that out of 30 onlookers there wasn't one with the necessary to come forward and say, 'Um...guys?...'

Compared to other countries with a similar level of development the US has the highest gun related deaths. Detroit has a similar level to El Salvador. Unfortunately they don't see the problem.
I post on another forum where most are from the US. If you so much as suggest they need to restrict gun ownership the abuse is astounding. Not a place I'd care to live.
