However ill-advised and reckless the actions of those involved someone has lost their life, someone has lost their partner, others have lost their son. Yet another someone has lost their brother and 2 children will grow up without their father.
The fact the dead man acted in foolish way which contributed to his death will neither be lost on those he left behind, nor lessen their grief. Perhaps, therefore, a little respect for their feelings are warranted?

It's the kids I feel sorry for. The parents and bystanders are guilty of reckless stupidity and need to have the book thrown at them, very hard. Just not the one with the big hole through the middle and bloodstained pages.

I'm not. I'm asserting it without evidence. However, I'll stand by that assertion until someone comes along and demonstrates me wrong, and then I'll withdraw it and apologise.
In the meantime, I can't see any reason to amend posting behaviour in relation to the actions of some-guy-on-the-internet who did something extremely stupid.
