Woman thinks its funny to hold me and other traffic up on purpose

As I passed, I got a good look at the driver and she said "Are you in a rush?" or something along those lines as well as laughing. To which I replied "I can spare you ten minutes. Back seat, front or across the bonnet?".

And she was Shirley Bassey

I dont think I got the point at the end across. 'She was laughing' Has noone realised what she was doing?

If she had been genuinely slow and cautious, then I wouldnt have cared much. But she was laughing and made a snide comment as I passed, meaning she was obviously doing it on purpose.

The point to the thread is that there are some people out there who think it is funny to purposely hold up traffic. Cycling does not hold up traffic as we populate a very small percentage of the lane and allow people to overtake with ease. This woman had not overtaken me previously and was just being obnoxious when she saw me in her mirror.

That is bloody appalling. I take it you have the incident on trolley cam? have you contacted the authorities? I hope you gave her a piece of your mind at the very least.

I myself had to slow for a pigeon in the road this morning, I've cancelled my direct debit to the RSPB and will complain to the office as soon as it opens. Barstewards.

Even worse, visiting Ikea recently, 2 rather large ladies in electric chairs decided to have a chat in the entrance way. I am trying to convince my wife it was a message that we should not go to Ikea again.
